Client: Municipality of Vega Alta
The municipality wanted to evaluate the possibility of improving the aesthetics of the existing pedestrian bridge over road PR#2. While the existing bridge can function, the protective fence that envelops the cross path is not in good shape and aesthetically is unpleasant. TFA proposed a modular fencing design with a series of colors that would brighten the look of the bridge. The handrails would be replaced, the structure would be repaired and repainted. The floor would be replaced with a new floor tile following the angular pattern of the fencing. The structure follows the recommendations of the Highway Authority regarding pedestrian bridges
