Tapia + Fernandez Arquitectos is an architecture studio based in Puerto Rico that provides full building design services with the purpose of promoting a better-built environment for our clients while fulfilling their project’s vision and goals. TFA is Women-Owned Small Business or WOSB certified and HUBZone by Small Business Administration. As designers and project managers, we strive to propose and implement sensible design ideas and sustainability strategies to improve the users' life-quality while providing security, comfort, and well-designed spaces.
Since TFA’s foundation in 2008, our priority has been to positively impact the built environment by translating our understanding of materials, building codes, local climate, and culture into thoughtful architecture. Our diverse background experience allows us to support our design ideas to comply with client’s and user’s expectations. We see ourselves as thinkers, problem solvers, and facilitators in the construction process, leading collaborative processes with consultants and adding value through innovation and insight.
